Designer Rachel Roy has filed for divorce from her Hip-hop hubby Damon Dash, co-founder of Roc-a-Fella Records and the Rocawear clothing label. Over the past months, Dash has been plagued with financial issues.

Steve & Barry's and Imitation of Christ Fold

Both sides of the fashion spectrum are feeling the effects of the credit crunch. Discount retailer Steve & Barry's and designer label Imitation of Christ, founded by Tara Subkoff, have both bitten (no pun intended) the dust. Sad.

Lipstick Jungle Cancelled

NBC has officially dropped Lipstick Jungle, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Ratings for the show have been tanking over the past few weeks and took a serious hit when the show was moved to a new Friday night time slot.

Looks like we won't be seeing any more fashion eye candy from the girls.

Say Goodbye To "Heidiwood"

 

Marla White, Director of PR & Brand Development for the Anchor Blue Retail Group, has confirmed that Heidi Montag's clothing line "Heidiwood" has been discontinued after only a one year run. 

While I have to give the girl props for offering a line that her target audience could actually afford, it was pretty horrendous in design and quality. I can only assume her self proclaimed love of zebra print was not felt by the fashion masses.
